As a member of our backend development team, you'll play a key role in enhancing our service solutions while collaborating with a talented and supportive team. We're looking for experienced Node.js developers to join our DataManager API team, working on real-world solutions in a dynamic, agile environment. You'll engage with cross-functional teams, tackle diverse projects, and continuously explore new challenges. Here's what we expect from you:

• Contribute to all development phases.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient Node.js code.
• Ensure optimal performance and quality of applications.
• Identify and solve bottlenecks and bugs.
• Help maintain code quality and organization.
• Engage in interesting and challenging tasks in an international environment.
• Monitor and ensure system availability and health.
• Develop software and systems for managing our applications.
• Enhance reliability, quality, and time-to-market of software solutions.
• Measure and optimize system performance, anticipating customer needs and driving innovation.

Qualifications: 

• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong quality focus
• DevOps mindset
• Open to learning new things
• Knowledge about Docker & Kubernetes
• Knowledge about application security and privacy awareness
• Proficient communication in English and German

Hard-skills: 

• Proficiency in Node.js
• Proficiency in SQL
• Familiarity with Git
• Experience with unit testing

The following skills are considered advantageous: 

• Domain knowledge in the financial domain, including financial protocols
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization
• Experience with REST web services
• Proficiency in Memcached, Redis
