About the Role

 

Our corporate Legal team supports Infront’s international business efforts. If you have a passion for international law and learning how a multinational fintech company does business, we are interested in talking to you. The position is so dynamic that not only you will be working with the legal structure but as well with Infront's mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transaction activities.


This position can be remote 100%, or hybrid in Frankfurt's office. But necessarily in Germany. The role entails:

  • Support to the Legal Department (reporting into Head of Legal).
  • Support HR and business teams, on employment matters, employee relations, information services, and operations regarding compliance with existing and forthcoming labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Advertise on issues such as discipline, redundancies, leave, pensions, contractor management and settlement agreements.
  • Develop and negotiate works council agreements (Betriebsrat).
  • Deliver training on compliance with labor and employment laws.
  • Legal responsibility for our People and Culture department.
  • Responsible to ensure that employment contracts and projects are compliant with internal and external requirements.
  • Responsible to build up our internal legal knowledge platform.
  • Connect employment law matters with the compliance, data privacy departments.
  • Deal directly with our external law consultants and ensure quality and alignment of our external advisors.

Who you are

  • You have a German law degree (2. Staatsexamen).
  • Alternatively, you have a law degree (Bar Exam) of another EU member state.
  • You are fluent in English and German.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in-house or law firm in employment matters, including interaction with works councils (Betriebsrat).
  • You have a high level commitment and the ability to work under pressure, a confident attitude and strong communication skills.
