About the Role

As a Market Data Specialist at Infront, you will play a central role in supporting the onboarding, changing management, and quality oversight of financial market data across our systems. Your main responsibility will be to assess source specifications, define how market data should be integrated into our backend landscape, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure data feeds remain reliable and fit for use.
You will work closely with teams across content, product, operations, and development, acting as a key link between external data sources and internal systems while helping to evaluate changes, clarify requirements, and maintain continuity across complex data flows.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate real-time data and company info into our system landscape, orchestrating a seamless data flow that empowers our clients.
  • Create technical blueprints that guide our development team.
  • Work with a vibrant, multinational team across Stockholm, Frankfurt, and Milan and more.
  • Dive into complex data packages, analyzing and deciphering insights, ensuring the data we provide is accurate and meaningful.
  • Be the go-to person for our product management, tech, and sales teams, providing expertise on data intake, processing, and maintenance.
  • Support internal and external clients with requests (2nd-level support).
  • Conduct research on emerging data providers, specific datasets, and exciting new content, helping us stay at the forefront of financial data.

Who you are

  • Senior, detail-oriented market data professional with a strong understanding of financial markets, including indices, exchanges, and trading data
  • Experienced in market data, financial information, or similar environments, with knowledge of how data is sourced, structured, and consumed
  • Analytical and curious, with the persistence to investigate specifications and drive topics from assessment through to completion
  • Structured and solution-oriented, able to navigate complex, evolving systems and responsibilities
  • Independent and accountable, with the judgment to take ownership while aligning with relevant stakeholders when needed
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, comfortable working across product, operations, technology teams, and external data providers
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, keeping topics moving in a clear and pragmatic way
  • Methodical and hands-on, able to review specifications, define requirements, support testing, and deliver changes successfully
  • Reliable and proactive, with a focus on data quality, operational continuity, and effective outcomes
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Swedish and/or German skills are a plus.
  • Programming skills in SQL, Python, or similar languages are a plus.
