About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially focused Pre-Sales Specialist to support the growth of our Infront Quant Valuation & Risk offering (IQ Risk) and our independent Valuation Services across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
Working as a trusted advisor alongside regional Sales Executives, you will engage with prospective clients throughout the sales cycle, demonstrating how our multi-asset risk analytics and independent valuation services address the complex needs of banks, asset managers, insurers, pension funds, fund administrators, AIFMs, family offices and institutional investors.
This is a quota-carrying role with co-prime responsibility for the achievement of sales targets for the in-scope Valuation & Risk product suite. Success requires a combination of strong business acumen, quantitative and financial markets expertise, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to articulate business value to both executive and operational stakeholders.
This position is based in Frankfurt am Main, where you will work closely with our quant analysts, model developers, and valuation service specialists, gaining direct access to the expertise behind IQ Risk and our independent valuation offerings.
As our Pre-Sales Specialist, you will:
- Partner with Regional Sales Executives to develop account strategies, drive revenue growth, and support commercial negotiations across assigned territories.
- Qualify client business, functional, quantitative, and technical requirements, contributing to opportunity planning, competitive positioning, and solution design.
- Deliver demonstrations, proof of concepts, valuation benchmarks, solution proposals, and technical validation activities tailored to client needs.
- Lead discovery workshops to understand valuation policies, risk measurement processes, market data requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Design and present solution architectures, including API, data feed, and file-based integrations, that align client requirements with product capabilities.
- Act as a subject matter expert for valuation methodologies, risk analytics, and relevant regulatory frameworks, while positioning Infront Quant's independent approach against alternative solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across investments, risk, valuation, operations, compliance, fund accounting, and technology functions, articulating the business value and ROI of our solutions to audiences ranging from end users to executive leadership.
- Collaborate closely with Quant Analytics, Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams, sharing market and regulatory insights to support product development, competitive positioning, and sales success.
- Travel regularly across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Luxembourg to support client meetings, workshops, industry events, and internal collaboration.
Who you are
- Proven experience in Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, or Solution Engineering supporting enterprise SaaS, financial technology, or quantitative analytics solutions.
- Strong understanding of valuation, risk analytics, capital markets, and financial instruments, ideally across fixed income, derivatives, and structured products.
- Experience supporting complex, consultative B2B sales cycles and engaging with senior business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation, demonstration, and workshop facilitation skills.
Ability to translate business, regulatory, and operational challenges into effective technology and service solutions. - Commercially minded with experience working toward revenue targets or shared sales objectives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence both business and technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working across multiple countries, cultures, and stakeholder groups.
- Knowledge of valuation and risk management solutions, market data vendors, APIs, cloud technologies, quantitative risk concepts, and RFP/RFI processes is advantageous.
- Fluent German and English are essential; additional European language skills are considered a strong advantage.
- A relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field, as well as professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, CAIA, or equivalent, are considered a strong advantage.
