About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Operations Lead to join our team in Madrid and play a key role within the Revenue Operations function. This role sits at the centre of how our commercial organisation operates, ensuring that systems, processes, and data are aligned to support effective execution across Sales, Customer Success, and Partnerships.
Reporting to the Revenue Operations Manager, you will act as the operational backbone of the function, taking ownership of Salesforce and leading a small team responsible for systems and data delivery, providing guidance, oversight, and clear prioritisation of work. You will ensure that agreed revenue processes are clearly translated into scalable, well-structured system design, working closely with Revenue Operations leadership to support process design, improve system architecture, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our commercial operating model.
You will own how the revenue process is supported by systems and tools end-to-end, from lead through to renewal, ensuring that process improvements are continuously refined and quickly reflected in the systems that support them. This role combines technical ownership with operational leadership, requiring a proactive and process-first mindset, as well as a strong understanding of how tools, data, and workflows come together to support revenue generation.
As our Sales Operations Lead, you will:
- Own Salesforce as the system of record, translating defined revenue processes into scalable, well-structured configurations across Sales, CS, and Partnerships.
- Lead a small operations team, providing direction, prioritisation, and oversight to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Manage and prioritise system and process improvements, ensuring high-quality delivery through oversight of the wider team.
- Define, standardise, and enforce end-to-end revenue processes, ensuring consistent execution from lead to close to renewal through system design.
- Drive continuous process improvement and ensure changes are rapidly translated into system updates to enable consistent and seamless execution.
- Own data governance, quality standards, and underlying data structures across revenue systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business processes.
- Support coverage models and territory operations, including implementing territory structures within Salesforce.
- Build and maintain reporting and dashboards, supporting analytics needs and ensuring reliable data foundations for actionable insights.
- Evaluate and define the revenue technology stack, challenging tooling decisions and ensuring solutions are effectively integrated and aligned to business needs without adding unnecessary complexity.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Enable and support users through training, documentation, and communication, driving adoption of tools and processes across Sales, CS, and Partnerships.
Who you are
To succeed in this role, you bring a strong combination of system expertise, process thinking, and leadership capability; you are comfortable translating business needs into scalable solutions, able to define and drive structured ways of working, and confident leading others while aligning stakeholders around clear priorities and outcomes.
You have experience with:
- Proven experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or CRM-focused roles within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Hands-on experience owning and managing Salesforce configurations in a complex business setting.
- Strong process orientation, with the ability to design, optimise, and enforce scalable workflows.
- Experience supporting full revenue lifecycle operations, including new business and renewal/expansion models.
- Prior leadership experience, with the ability to define, communicate, and drive a clear direction while guiding teams and influencing without direct authority.
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality, particularly in multi-system environments.
- Experience building reports and dashboards that support business decision-making.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and a complex delivery backlog.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to challenge existing approaches and drive continuous improvement.
