About the Role

 

In this role you will be responsible for providing legal consulting and drafting contracts across various business areas, countries and entities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and standardize contract templates, general terms, and conditions, ensuring harmonization across all entities.
  • Review, organize, and maintain contracts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth operations.
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage national and international agreements, including those with customers, partners, and service providers.
  • Provide legal advice to management and internal divisions on contractual and business-related matters.
  • Collaborate with departments such as compliance, sales, customer service, product management, marketing, and data protection on contract-related projects.
  • Improve contract management processes, including document storage, retrieval, and renewal tracking.
  • Oversee the development of automated contract creation tools to enhance standardization.
  • Manage relationships with external legal advisors and support international subsidiaries on legal issues.

Who you are

 

Legal Expertise

  • Completed legal education with successful first and second state examinations.
  • Expertise in software contract law, copyright law, general contract law, and data protection law.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in the German and Swiss markets is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work precisely and efficiently under time pressure.
  • High level of commitment, structured work style, and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and experience with document management systems (e.g., ELO).
  • Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and problem-solving ability.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative approach.
