We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our talented group of systems engineers based in Rimpar, Germany. In this role, you will be required to deliver and support mission critical services within the fintech domain and you will automate, deploy, maintain, and improve IT solutions in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
The role requires you to do both daily business operations and project work. You will also work closely with the development teams, helping them to deliver new features and ensure the highest levels of application and infrastructure availability.
It is vital to have the ability and passion to deep dive into various engineering problems, share skills, ideas and document the progress.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the productive operation of fintech and infrastructure related applications;
- Providing technical 2nd and 3rd level support (including legacy product support as well as modern cloud base services' operations);
- Code deployment planning and rollouts;
- Financial Market Data exports’ setup and troubleshooting;
- Plan and implement systems automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools;
- Ensure a rapid response to any technical issues and incidents;
- Plan and maintain patch management lifecycle;
- Provide a rapid response on vulnerabilities detection;
- Apply best monitoring practices;
- Creating and improving the technical documentation;
- Linux and Windows OS deployment;
- Container based software deployment;
- Implement DBA operations (maintenance, migration, tuning).
