We're seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in enhancing and maintaining our Oracle-based backend systems. From implementing new features to optimizing data distribution, your expertise will drive efficiency and innovation.
Responsabilties:
- Work on our Oracle-based backend, developing and implementing new features, data deliveries, and enhancing existing functionalities across Oracle 19.18 Exadata, Oracle 18 EE, Oracle 18 SE, and MS-SQL.
- Develop batch jobs for efficient data loading and distribution.
- Collaborate in 2nd level support to ensure seamless operation.
- Engage in DevOps activities, managing database jobs for optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed and structured documentation of design and source code.
- Utilize your development skills to enhance efficiency, scalability, stability, and maintainability of systems and subsystems.
- Continuously improve technical standards and best practices to ensure top-notch performance.
- Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in database design, including partitioned and non-partitioned tables, indexes, temporary tables, and external tables.
- Skilled in SQL tuning and optimization for both new and existing applications, utilizing enterprise tools for enhanced performance.
- Familiarity with Java or a similar language such as C#.
- Eagerness to expand knowledge by learning new programming languages and techniques.
- Open-minded and collaborative team player with a strong spirit of teamwork.
Having the following is a plus:
- Familiarity with MS SQL.
- Experience working with Exadata.
- Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA) tasks.
- Strong language proficiency in written and spoken German.
