This is a unique opportunity to join Infront in a newly created Head of QA role and build a modern Quality Engineering function from the ground up. Operating in a fintech environment focused on financial markets and wealth technology, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with leadership to drive an automation-first approach to quality across the organisation. Working closely with Engineering, Product, and development teams, you'll shape strategy, implement scalable testing practices, and make a lasting impact on how software is built and delivered across the business.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the quality engineering strategy across Infront
- Increase automated testing coverage across products and platforms
- Support teams in embedding testing into CI/CD pipelines and day-to-day development
- Contribute hands-on to automation frameworks, tooling, and technical quality initiatives where needed
- Lead and develop QA engineers and SDETs
- Support hiring and growth of quality engineering capability
- Establish standards and best practices for testing and quality engineering
- Work closely with engineering and product leadership to improve delivery quality and release confidence
- Drive practical improvements to quality processes, tooling, and engineering practices
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong background as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar hands-on quality engineering role
- Proven experience leading QA transformations from manual testing to scalable automated testing frameworks
- Experience building and scaling automated testing frameworks
- Experience leading QA or quality engineering teams
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD and automated testing
- Experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience preferred
