About the Role

To maintain strong and continuous coverage in our newsroom, we are looking for a Junior Editorial Reporter to join the team to support our morning shift (04:30–12:30). This position is part of Infront’s news agency, Nyhetsbyrån Direkt, which delivers real-time financial news on the Nordic markets to professional market participants, including banks, asset managers, institutional investors, listed companies, and financial media.

You will work as part of Sweden’s largest financial news agency, contributing to timely and accurate reporting on market movements, macroeconomic developments, and corporate events. The role is ideal for students or individuals looking for flexible, meaningful work experience within financial journalism. Both part-time positions include full-time coverage during the summer period.

As a Junior Editorial Reporter, you will:

  • Produce timely and accurate news updates during your assigned shift
  • Write short, well‑crafted articles in Swedish
  • Monitor financial markets, gather relevant information and conduct background research
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the newsroom to ensure comprehensive and up‑to‑date coverage
  • Help secure continuity and accuracy in our real‑time financial reporting

Who you are

  • You have a strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics and journalism
  • You write clearly and accurately in Swedish
  • You are comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and meeting tight deadlines
  • You bring strong attention to detail and a responsible, professional work ethic
  • You feel comfortable taking initiative and working independently when needed, as you will sometimes be the only reporter on duty.
  • You have basic knowledge of how financial markets work
  • You communicate well in English
