About the Role

We are looking for a Product Owner / Analyst to build and grow our Regulatory Solutions portfolio. In this role, you will take end-to-end responsibility for the success of your products — from identifying market opportunities and defining the product vision, through specification and development, to client adoption and commercial success.

Our regulatory solutions help banks, asset managers, insurers and issuers meet increasingly complex disclosure and regulatory requirements. Our portfolio covers regulatory documents such as pre-contractual disclosures, PRIIPs KIDs, AVDepot PIBs, UK KIDs and CCI KIDs, as well as the calculation engine and supporting components behind them.

These are highly specialized products: they need to be mathematically sound, technically robust, regulatory-compliant and genuinely useful to clients.

You will be at the center of a small team of experts, working closely with quantitative specialists who develop the methodologies, developers who build the solutions, sales colleagues who bring them to market, and clients who depend on them in their daily workflows.

This is an opportunity to shape new products from the ground up and own them end to end, while developing deep expertise at the intersection of financial regulation, quantitative finance and technology.

What you will do

  • Take end-to-end ownership of your products and their success: vision, roadmap, delivery, adoption and revenue
  • Conceive and launch new regulatory services, from the initial idea through to market launch
  • Act as Product Owner for the development teams: write requirements and user stories, define acceptance criteria, prioritize the backlog and accept results
  • Translate regulatory requirements and quantitative methodology into clear product specifications and development priorities
  • Work closely with our quant experts on the calculation engine, methodologies and the interpretation of regulatory technical standards
  • Collaborate with developers throughout the product lifecycle, from design and testing to release
  • Support sales with product expertise, demos, client presentations and tenders
  • Speak directly with clients to understand their workflows, challenges and requirements, and turn what you learn into product improvements
  • Follow regulatory developments and assess their impact on our products and roadmap
  • Define success metrics and monitor product performance, usage and revenue contribution
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality, scalability, reliability and usability of our services
  • Support client onboarding and major product implementations

Who you are

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Computer Science or another quantitative discipline
  • Career starters are welcome. Experience in product management, business analysis, fintech or financial services is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • You have a strong understanding of valuation, risk analytics, capital markets and financial instruments, ideally including fixed income, derivatives, OTC and structured products
  • You are interested in financial regulation and enjoy getting to grips with complex regulatory texts and methodologies, such as PRIIPs and the associated calculation methodologies
  • You have a strong ownership mindset: you take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks, and approach problems proactively and pragmatically
  • You are able to translate complex topics into clear and actionable requirements, whether you are speaking with quantitative experts, developers, sales colleagues or clients
  • You are client-oriented and enjoy working in cross-functional, expert teams
  • You work in a structured, precise and analytical way, with a strong attention to detail
  • You are comfortable working at the intersection of business requirements, quantitative concepts, regulation and technology
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
