About the Role

 

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Purchasing & Contract Manager. In this role, you will act as an interface between internal departments such as Sales and Content and our international data suppliers. As part of our Content Licensing Team, you will play a key role in the Purchase-to-Pay process.

  • Negotiate delivery terms with international data suppliers (e.g., stock exchanges, news agencies, brokers, rating agencies) for customer projects.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate supplier contracts in German and English, including pricing and usage rights.
  • Prepare and manage supplier agreements in German and English.
  • Support the sales team in RFP processes, providing commercial insights on stock exchange data, broker data, news, and rating agencies.
  • Ensure smooth internal processing of changes in delivery conditions.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for sales and product management units domestically and internationally.
  • Document delivery conditions in our proprietary permissions system.

Who you are

 

To be eligible for this role, you have the following qualifications:

  • Degree in law, economics, or a related field.
  • Fluent in German and English (business level).
  • Strong commitment and a structured, customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Quick adaptability to technical contexts and complex information.
  • Detail-oriented and structured, even under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
