About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager to drive new business acquisition in Switzerland, with a strong focus on wealth managers, private banks and institutional investors.

The role is predominantly hunter-oriented, focused on identifying, developing, and closing new client relationships. The successful candidate brings a strong background in financial services sales, ideally with exposure to quantitative, financial, or market data solutions, and understands the buying processes of professional investors.

You will be responsible for owning the full sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification to closing — while working closely with internal product, marketing, and implementation teams to deliver high-quality, value-driven solutions to sophisticated clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business sales across Switzerland with a clear focus on growth
  • Acquire new clients among wealth managers, private banks, banks, and institutional investors
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, needs analysis, solution positioning, negotiation, and closing
  • Position complex financial, quantitative, or data-driven solutions to professional audiences
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings

Who you are

  • Proven track record in B2B new business sales within financial services
  • Strong experience selling to wealth managers, banks, or institutional investors
  • Background in financial data, market data, quant solutions, analytics, or financial software is highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of capital markets, investment processes, and professional investor needs
  • Experience selling complex, consultative solutions with longer sales cycles
  • Strong hunter mentality with a structured and disciplined sales approach
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex topics clearly
  • High level of commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Self-driven, resilient, and comfortable working independently
  • Strong relationship-building skills at senior management level
  • Fluent in German and English (French is a plus)
  • Based in Switzerland, with willingness to travel domestically
