About the Role

 

We are looking for a highly skilled Front-End Developer to work with our dynamic team on modern tech products.  The main focus will be on developing trading applications for business clients and handling client integration. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern web development technologies and practices, including experience with TypeScript, Angular, Svelte, and RxJS. Familiarity with HighCharts and Angular Material is advantageous.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a proactive role in the Web & Mobile team, with a focus on end-user value, code quality, and technical innovations.
  • Support and coach internal developers, and facilitate customers with technical integrations.
  • Collaborate with product managers and team leaders to maintain a technical backlog aligned with business priorities.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications using fundamentals: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Implement and optimize front-end frameworks and libraries including TypeScript, Angular, Svelte, and RxJS.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using frameworks such as Karma/Jasmine, Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
  • Manage code repositories with Git; experience with Bitbucket is a plus.
  • Utilize NPM or Yarn for managing project dependencies.
  • Ensure robust CI/CD processes using Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar tools for automated builds, testing, and deployment.

Who you are

Front-end Engineer with:

  • Proven experience of at least 5 years with Front-end web development.
  • Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Angular, Svelte, RxJS, and SCSS is an advantage (but not restrictive).
  • Experience in FinTech industry or related will be an advantage,
  • Strong expertise in testing frameworks like Karma/Jasmine, Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
  • Experience with NPM or Yarn for dependency management.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD processes with tools such as Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • Proficiency with Git; experience with Bitbucket is a plus.

 

And, desirably, with:

  • Experience with build tools like Webpack or Rollup for optimizing and bundling frontend assets.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS for hosting and deploying applications.
  • Knowledge of Docker for creating and managing portable development environments.
