About the Role

 

We are seeking an experienced Product Engineer / Solution Architect to join our team, focusing on the development and continuous improvement of our portfolio management and advisory solutions within the wealth management and finance domains. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation, ensure alignment with business objectives, and provide architectural expertise to support our strategic roadmap.

 

  • Participate in defining client needs and product enhancements in alignment with our strategic product roadmap.
  • Engage and manage relationships with external stakeholders throughout the change request lifecycle.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our portfolio management solution portfolio.
  • Lead the architectural and technical design roadmap, working collaboratively with the team.
  • Analyze and prepare detailed requirements, supporting DevOps teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Act as a strategic partner for Product Owners, stakeholders, developers, and architects across product domains.
  • Ensure product documentation is up-to-date and accessible.

Who you are

 

Personal Skills:

  • Extensive experience as a software developer, with a strong technical foundation.
  • Degree in Finance or Computer Science.
  • Solid experience in the financial services industry.
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Strong DevOps mindset, with the ability to work closely with solution architects.
  • Team player with a strong analytical approach.
  • Fluent in both English and German.
  • Resides in Switzerland.

Technical & Business Know-How:

  • Proficiency in quantitative finance, asset and wealth management products, and processes.
  • Deep understanding with SaaS operating models and modern software architectures.
  • Expertise in Java, Spring, and JavaScript. A full-stack background is an advantage.
  • Skilled in data modeling and documentation.
  • Extensive experience developing software solutions for the financial services sector.

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications in business analysis or requirements engineering, especially in regulatory and reporting areas.
  • CFA, CIIA, or equivalent certifications are an asset.
