About the Role
We are building and modernizing a next-generation entitlement and access control platform that's central to our Fintech product ecosystem. This platform manages complex product and market data entitlements, permissions, licensing, provisioning, and visibility across internal and external systems. We're looking for a Technical Product Owner for this platform, and you'll join a squad that owns this solution, with a mandate to modernise, improve reliability, expand capability, and implement a modern engineering approach.

As a Technical Product Owner for the Entitlement platform, you will:
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for the entitlement platform.
- Act as the technical authority on entitlement behavior, data flows, and integrations.
- Define and prioritize work across Infront Product requirements, factoring in stability, scalability, compliance, and modernization.
- Maintain a high-quality, well-groomed backlog.
- Define acceptance criteria that are technically precise and testable.
- Make trade-off decisions between short-term delivery and long-term product health.
- Ensure entitlement logic aligns with business rules, regulatory requirements, and commercial models.
- Collaborate with other Product Owners and teams to implement/migrate to the entitlement platform, address cross-system entitlement needs as well as finance/Backoffice integration and needs.
Who you are
Core requirements:
- Several years of proven experience as a Technical Product Owner/Product Manager for backend or platform systems. This is not a first Product Owner role.
Strong technical understanding of:
- Service-oriented architectures and API's.
- Data-heavy, rules-driven systems.
- Legacy platforms and incremental modernization.
- Agile ways of working.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, comfortable navigating ambiguity and reconciling differing approaches across legacy systems.
- Ability to confidently engage with senior engineers on design, trade-offs, and risk.
- Experience owning systems where correctness, reliability, and auditability matter.
- Experience owning backend, data, or platform products. This is not a fit for candidates with primarily front-end/digital product backgrounds.
Nice to have:
- Experience with entitlement, permissions, licensing, or access-control domains.
- Exposure to financial services, trading, or market data platforms.
- Experience as a scrum master.
Tech Stack our team works with:
Backend: C#, .NET Framework 4.8, Entity Framework, WCF (Windows-based)
Data Layer: MS SQL Server with a complex schema, stored procedures, triggers, and ETL jobs
Admin Tools: WPF desktop applications, ASP.NET WebForms, jQuery, Knockout
Build & Deployment: Mix of legacy and modern CI/CD pipelines (improvements in progress)
You won't be expected to write code, but you should be comfortable understanding this environment to make strong product decisions.
