About the Role

We have a brand-new role available for an experienced commercial lawyer. As Head of Legal / General Counsel, you will be based in our Frankfurt office (Amsterdam or Oslo is also possible), and will have overall responsibility of all compliance related issues across the Infront Group.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overall responsibility of all compliance related issues across Infront Group (works counsel, GDPR, M&A, anti-bribery etc.)
  • General responsibility of all legal issues incl. “housekeeping” (board secretary, advising on HR related legal matters, reviewing legal contracts etc.)
  • You will be an important contributor to ensuring solid risk management across the Group
  • Developing a legal function at Infront, working closely with our existing team of legal professionals (currently 3 employees who focus on customer contracts)
  • You will save costs and reduce the reliance on outside legal council

Who you are

  • You have a law degree, and admission to practice law in a civil or common law jurisdiction (EU countries, US or commonwealth jurisdictions are an asset) and/or a LL.M in finance, business or corporate (preferable)
  • Relevant legal experience at a top law firm, start-up and/or in-house legal department
  • You are tech savvy, and are someone who knows how to use technology to become more efficient
  • Easily adaptable to a multicultural environment
  • You have experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Fluent English is essential, German skills and further languages will be considered a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively with little supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • You are passionate about achieving great results, you're detail-oriented and resourceful, with excellent follow-through skills and are able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • You're resilient, innovative, trustworthy and comfortable with high levels of uncertainty, responsibility and self-direction
  • Finance and banking law, knowledge of securitisations, factoring and compliance expertise is useful, alongside commercial experience
