About the Role

As a Junior Solution Consultant within our Services team, you will play an important role in helping our customers get the most out of our solutions. You will work closely with customers and colleagues to understand business needs and support the delivery of solutions that address their challenges.

Working alongside experienced consultants and specialists, you will be involved in different stages of the customer journey, from gathering requirements and configuring solutions to supporting testing, training and go-live activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their consulting and technical skills, gain hands-on experience with software implementations and build a career at the intersection of technology, business and financial markets.

You will collaborate with colleagues across Customer Success, Product, IT Operations, Sales and Customer Care to help deliver a positive customer experience and successful implementation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in customer discovery sessions and workshops to understand business needs, processes and implementation requirements.
  • Help translate customer requirements into practical solution designs and configuration plans.
  • Support the configuration of Infront solutions, including workflows, permissions, reports, dashboards, product settings and reference data.
  • Contribute to customer onboarding and implementation activities, ensuring projects progress smoothly and customers receive the support they need.
  • Assist with project scoping, delivery planning and the preparation of Statements of Work in collaboration with the wider Services team.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), helping customers test and validate solutions ahead of go-live.
  • Prepare and deliver customer training sessions, administrator guidance and knowledge transfer activities, with support from senior colleagues where needed.
  • Work with technical teams on data migration, integrations and environment readiness.
  • Prepare and maintain implementation documentation, process guides and customer handover materials.
  • Assist with assessing customer change requests and supporting release planning and service transitions.
  • Help investigate functional issues and provide first-level functional support, escalating more complex matters when required.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to support a smooth transition from implementation into business-as-usual operations.
  • Share customer feedback and observations with colleagues across Product, Sales and Technology to contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, requirements gathering and customer workshops.

Who you are

  • You have a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • You have approximately 1–3 years of professional experience, ideally in a customer-facing, consulting, business analysis, technology or financial services environment.
  • You have an interest in technology, financial markets and understanding how software solutions can address business challenges.
  • You have good analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy understanding business requirements and finding practical solutions.
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and feel comfortable interacting with customers and collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • You are motivated to develop your skills in software configuration, implementation, requirements gathering and customer training.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team, are comfortable taking responsibility for assigned tasks and are keen to gradually take on more ownership as you develop.
  • You are curious, proactive and adaptable, with a positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset.
  • You have a basic understanding of operating systems, with some exposure to Windows and/or Linux.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, XML, JSON, Python or SQL is an advantage, but not essential.
  • An interest in financial markets, trading workflows or the buy-side/sell-side industry is a plus. Exposure to the FIX protocol is beneficial but not required.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
