Overview
We are looking for a forward-looking, analytical and operational Chief Accountant for our Norwegian operations. You will have the overall responsibility for the accounting and financial reporting for the parent company in the Infront group, as well as several minor subsidiaries and holding companies.
In cooperation with the CFO and an experienced team you will be in charge of the development of the company's finance function including parent company and subsidiaries.
To succeed and thrive in the role, you must be results- and solution-oriented. You are skilled at collaboration and able to create trust through good relationship-building qualities. Furthermore, you have an analytical, accurate and structured approach to tasks and areas of responsibility.
You will be an important contributor on both the administrative and operational level in the company. English and Norwegian will be the working languages. There will be very good opportunities for developing the position for the right applicant.
Are you up for the challenge?
As our new accounting colleague your role and responsibilities will include:
- Lead and develop the accounting function.
- Responsible for the periodic (monthly) closing for the Norwegian entities and the preparation of the monthly accounts.
- Preparation of the Annual accounts – being the main point of contact for the auditors in Norway
- Preparation of tax returns
- Lead the work with analyses and presentations for financial development in Infront Norway and crossover group.
- Establish/maintain systems and routines for follow-up and control as well as reconciling the accounts.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Exercise professional and operational responsibility for the processes surrounding financial reporting and forecasting.
- Be a professional contact person and drive internal competence development within financial reporting and forecasting – act as a resource person to the local teams in Norway and the group finance teams across countries.
- Contribute to the design, organization, and description of routines within the subject area that safeguard current accounting principles.
- Ensure continuous review and streamlining of reporting routines, including descriptions and processes.
- Ensure effective interface with accounting and business controlling.

- Bachelor/Master's in finance and/or Accounting, preferably a qualified accountant or holder of MRR with in-depth knowledge of Norwegian accounting rules and legislation
- Experience from international business, including relevant knowledge and interest about tax and VAT handling for companies working internationally.
- Has a solid understanding of accounting with experience and competence in IFRS
- Has 5-10 years' experience preferably in auditing and/or accounting.
- Strong IT skills and experience from modern cloud-based ERP- and accounting systems (we are planning systems change within the next two years)
- Team player with strong communication skills and hands-on attitude
- Fluent in oral and written Norwegian and English
- Structured with strong focus on progress and implementation.
