Great, innovative marketing can’t happen without a strong, on-the-ground, field marketer to engage directly with customers, sales, and press in the local market. An experienced marketing professional who can deliver integrated marketing campaigns with data centric insights will own and lead the full marketing plans for the Nordics region (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and UK). The field marketer is both the voice of the local sales teams back to marketing and the voice of marketing into those teams and the local market. With the ability to adapt and inject innovation into our marketing campaigns by being responsive to market conditions and local needs, we expect to tune our campaigns based on data to maximize impact and meet our reputation and demand generation objectives.
An exciting new role to lead and shape marketing, reporting directly to the CMO, the Field Marketing Manager is central to realizing Infront’s strategy to scale up the marketing function in these strategic markets using integrated marketing including an always-on digital approach linked to local in-person activation.
In this role you will:
- Own all in-market in-person activation tactics, recommending appropriate venues, conferences and trade shows, and associations
- Identify and engage local agencies to support owned and 3rd party events
- Advise campaign leaders on market activation approaches for the Nordics and UK across trade shows, conferences and owned events for integrated campaigns
- Work with the assigned PR agency to identify and execute on media opportunities in the local markets with local spokespeople
- Engage directly with customers to build relationships that will support them acting as references in sales cycles, speaking at events, and in press activities
- Work with local sales teams to help them engage with in-market digital and in-person campaign activities
- Collaborate with the Head of Digital and Web Marketing Manager on digital and owned media strategies for the Nordics market
- Communicate about all marketing activities and local results to the in-market teams
Qualifications
A great Field Marketing Manager will have many (but not necessarily all) of these qualities:
- A native English speaker with strong writing skills; Swedish or Norwegian skills are beneficial
- A natural storyteller, you are passionate about looking for new, better ways to engage people, raising the bar for what local market engagement can be
- You have experience working across multiple European cultures and languages, bringing cultural awareness and nuance to drive effectiveness
- Your strong point of view on what an integrated journey looks like from unaware to consideration drives you to identify new ways to deliver campaign excellence
- Numbers, data, and metrics inform your decision making across budgeting, spend, optimization, and business outcomes
- A natural collaborator, you communicate clearly and effectively through your personal influence with multiple audiences
